A downside to summer school

Taking night classes has completely upended my sleeping habits
This is the 3rd day this week I’ve somehow cut off my alarm clock without realizing it and fallen back asleep –Â not just hit snooze, but turned it off completely. Woke up shortly after 12pm; was supposed to be awake / showered / dressed / out the door by 9am.
Needless to say I’ll be assiduously avoiding classes in the 6:30pm-9:50pm time block in the future And probably searching for a new alarm clock that is more difficult to cut off
Ever heard of a Clocky? I figure by the time you catch the stupid thing you’ll probably be wide awake.

Put the alarm clock in your bathroom. Forget snooze, it just wastes sleep. Set it for the time you have to get up and do it, even if you have to set it later.
alarm clock in the bathroom isn’t a bad idea, i’ve put a really loud alarm clock in the corner of the room farthest from my bed so i have to get up to turn it off. and it also gets louder the longer you let it ring.
@Sheena: I’ve never heard of the Clocky before, that’s… interesting. I feel like I wouldn’t have my usual sunny disposition in the morning though if I had to chase my clock around the bedroom
@schalliol: That thought has crossed my mind, but I’m not sure it’d be loud enough for me to hear
@JJC: Yeah at some point I will probably by a new alarm clock. I’ve had this one for over a decade though, I’m partial to it…
being partial to an alarm clock just makes it easier to tune out
